Joining Eddie Saenz is, you guessed it, my favorite clown, Joe-Joe the Clown. We know that Joe has aligned himself with former District Clerk Omar Guerrero but now he takes true for for supporting his long time friend and criminal Eddie Saenz.
We know that Joe and Eddie own some beach property together.
As stated in the September 27, 2007 "Candidate for state representative charged with DWI" article in the Monitor,
An officer stopped Saenz for turning without signaling but then smelled alcohol on Saenz’s breath and noted his speech was slurred, court documents show. The officer also noted that Saenz performed poorly during a field sobriety test and then refused a breath test.Would you and I been given such treatment? No. So here's to you Eddie Saenz.
Mission police said he would have been charged and booked that night, but the arresting officer found himself inundated with other calls. Given Saenz’s deep community ties, police considered him a low flight risk and officers let him go.

And then coincidently, the file disappears. And let's see who has run that office for the majority of the period since his diviorce....Aaron's aunt (Pauline Gonzalez) and his childhood friend's wife (Laura Hinojosa).
Then Aaron's kids are role model's for the community....one dies of an overdose, another spends time in Mexican prison and goes around getting into fights in McAllen and another gets knocked up.
It's sad that our choices come down to a drunk driver and a wife-beating, coccaine-snorting, lousy parenting piece of shit.
We need a third candidate and fast.
I support Aaron Pena 100%. He has dignity, respect and more importantly trust that the business community needs.
I read the most hilarious thing on the Monitor web page. People are giving Aaron credit for the RAHC. Most of the work on the RAHC was done before Aaron's ugly mug arrived at the Legislature. The funding, planning and site selection occurred when Edinburg was represented by Eddie de la Garza and then Juan Hinojosa in the House. Harlingen was represented by Jim Solis. The Valley was represented by Carlos Truan and Eddie Lucio in the Senate. Aaron is so good at Grammstanding that he makes Phil Gramm look humble.

I needed a place to express myself because I am mad and I am glad that you are back and allow me to express myself. If I read the Edinburg Politics blog, I usually take it with a grain of salt because I understand they are full of hate. I understand, like Hitler, they like to spread disinformation. Well, today I felt that I had to speak out, but they don't like to hear opposing sides because they can't handle the truth or they don't have a brain to rebut. I am not related to Carmen Gonzalez. There is no blood relations between the Marmolejo's and the Gonzalez'. However, they are people that we respect and the feeling is mutual. Second, the Edinburg Politics people may not have the intellectual capacity to put together a speech like mine, but I don't need anyone to write a speech for me. If they had half a brain, they would have heard that the attorney stated that the bill itself did not state that there would be a penalty, but that the state does not like to have entities ignore them so that they would find a way to penalize them. The deal is that the system is broken and it does need fixing.
It's time that we get a viable third choice in the District 40 race. We are stuck in this situation where it is creep vs. crap. We have to choose between a wife-beating lousy parent with a past history of drug use and a drunk driver.
There is someone in Edinburg who has been a community-minded public servant and educator. This man has served our city as a city councilman and member of the STC board. He was a distinguished principal and superintendent in Hidalgo.

There are rumors around town that Carmen's husband may face serious opposition if he seeks reelection to the South Texas ISD school board. Remember, that seat is up this May also. Can the Gonzalezes handle two elections in the Spring?
Several people at the Courthouse over heard Alicia Guerrero and her brother Efrain Martinez trying to recruit former County Clerk Eddie Trevino to run against Carmen's husband. They were being open about what they were discussing.

Funny that you would think that. Morale is actually higher now that it's been in years. Educators are finally being paid better than every other district. Before Carmen arrived, teachers in Edinburg were being paid well below surrounding districts and there were close to 50 vacencies at one time prompting the district to fill those slots with substitute teachers. What a sad state of affairs when your children are not even being taught by an actual teacher. Now there are only less then 5 vacencies at one time. The only people that are nervous are some people who were given token jobs by Jaime Chavana, Gilbert Enriquez and Greg Garica as political favors. They're nervous cause they don't do crap and are afraid that they will be replaced with qualified people who are ready to work for the district, not just take home a paycheck for doing nothing but pass out election material for Jaime, Greg, Robert Pena and now for Jaime's worthless brother David Chavana who is the only employee of the district who doesn't need to punch in and out because he doesn't like the time clock. Also as far as student safety, it's not this administrations policy to sweep wrong doings under the carpet like they did in the past. There were teachers like Gloria Jackson getting pregnant by a student and nobody ever knew about it cause the board members like Jaime Chavana and Greg Garcia felt that it was more important to protect a fellow Ochoa backer than the students of the district. In fact, there are many employees in the district with questionalble backgrounds and who have acted inappropriately with students but Jaime Chavana has spoken on their behalf calling it an "honest mistake." Yes there are problems with the district, but it seems like you're blaming the people who are bringing them to the forefront rather than the people who sweep them under the rug.

Yesterday I was upset, not because they said I was related to Carmen Gonzalez but because E-News said that she probably wrote my speech. Carmen Gonzalez is my godmother and I will stand behind her 100%. I support her because I like what she stands for. The reason you make it personal must be because you have nothing to say about the real issues. For the 7:46 a.m. post who needs modifications, I said no blood relations. For the person who questions my integrity because of my name, I say accuse me and my family of that without the shield of "anonymous" only then will I take you seriously. For the 9:14 a.m. post, it isn't a witch hunt, she's fullfilling her campaign promise to get rid of the crap that bogs down our school district. It's not about power, it's about cleaning up the special favors other board members have made. If you don't like it, you or one of your family members must have benefitted from these special favors. Also, calling her Hugo Chavez would be comical if you had been joking. She only gets a 6 month extension. Others will be on the board for five years. The real issue is that if the school board accepts Plan B of the election extension, the ones who will truly benefit are the CHILDREN. Isn't that what it's all about? This is America and you are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. I know Carmen, and I know that her being on the school board is not about power. Saenz got bitch slapped last night from the Pharr city commision. He put in a change order for 42K and they told them no..

You don't have a valid argument or facts to support your opinion. The issue at hand was the new state law not who is related to whom or who drinks Koolaid. Although I have not had the opportunity of meeting Ms. Gonzalez, I do know that I haven't heard of her getting her family members or half of an entire community of family members hired with the Edinburg school district. THOSE in office that do so are the people that I would consider "power hungry." Also, a tidbit of information for your reply unless you have run out of slow-witted and juvenile responses, I was informed by a very good source that Miss Marmolejo does not work for ECISD and therefore has not directly benefitted from her godmother as she has been accused of doing. It's a shame that we can't use this blog as a platform to debate the issues and how we can come together to work for the children of our community.

EDINBURG — A candidate for state representative proclaimed his innocence Wednesday on a drunken driving charge stemming from an arrest in September.
Prominent Edinburg engineer Eddie Saenz pleaded not guilty during a brief arraignment hearing before County Court-at-Law Judge Jaime Palacios.
Saenz, 47, turned himself in to Mission police Sept. 28, five days after he refused a Breathalyzer test during a traffic stop.
An officer stopped Saenz for turning without signaling on the 2200 block of Farm-to-Market Road 495, but then smelled alcohol on his breath and noticed his speech was slurred, according to court documents. The candidate also performed poorly on a field sobriety test. He was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond after an initial court hearing.
Saenz’s arrest came less than three weeks after he announced he would challenge state Rep. Aaron Peña, D-Edinburg, for his District 40 seat in the Texas House of Representatives. The Democratic primary is March 4.
District 40 covers much of northern Hidalgo County, including Edinburg, the Delta region and parts of McAllen.
After Wednesday’s hearing, a spokesman for Saenz’s campaign referred all questions to his attorney, Mission lawyer Ric Salinas. Salinas did not return several calls for comment.
No trial date has been set in Saenz’s case.
What kind of credibility would the the people of Edinburg have if they where to elect a candidate such as Eddie Saenz. The state will continue to look at the Valley as a place were hoodlums run local government. Aaron has done an excellent job.

Tell me something peace master. If someone keeps on punching you in the face repeatedly, would you punch back? That's all this is about. On one hand, you have E-news throwing everything but the kitchen sink to Aaron Pena saying that it's all Aaron's fault. But look at their candidate. He gets arrested for DWI at 2:30 in the morning with slurred speech smelling like alcohol and fails the sobriety test. I mean, come on, give me a break, you can't expect the other side to just stay quiet and take the punches.

We the citizens are suppose to sit back and let some candidate with money declare that the Cop who did his job in eliminating a possible DWI THREAT to other drivers off the road was indeed wrong? But in the end, why all the hoopla and so defensive against an employee doing his job. That is a bit bullish on Eddie's part to go bulleying a civil service employee in court. Chances are the charges will get dismissed after much arm twisting on the officer by well who do you all think. I'm sure the list is long, but distinguished. And is that justice? NO, hence the picture of Ol Paulie Walnuts from the Sopranos, "Hey forget about it T." "It's all taken care of T." Were some of Paulie's lines in the hit series, and well those type of lines probably fit this situation. A dapper dressed business like attired man with connections and money to influence either for good or bad depends on who you ask. This type of cover up deserves such poster figure. I thought Mr.Saenz would of owned up to the incident, but the letter in the monitor failed to do so. I expected a class act in asking the public for forgiveness, but Mr. Saenz has proven to deny such incident even occurred and that it wasn't his fault and that is just not acceptable. Wrong words in the letter, Wrong actions in accusing the officer in doing wrong, and wrong actions in covering it up. Whats next sir? What do you want to cover up next? Which hourly employee do you wanna sick your high priced lawyer on? Who do you wanna discredit next? What situation will you use your political connections to get out of next? I invite everyone to check with TX DOT and the County of Hidalgo Pct.2 to find out the truth the Owassa Rd. project. This is the way that road came to pass. I already explained this to David Diaz after Tuesday’s city meeting and now you will all read it.
When TX DOT works on major roadways such as Expressway 281 they make sure the lateral roadways are safe for people trying to get on or under the new construction. In the case of Owassa Rd. TX DOT planned a 200’ improvement to and from Expressway 281 on the West and East side. In order to do this they needed 10’ of right of way on both the west and east side. Rio Grande Steel was the ONLY choice for the county to buy this right of way because on the other side were homes that were very close to Owassa Rd. already. When the county approached Rio Grande Steel for the 10’ there was a quite a bit of planning. After all for retail store to give up 10’ of parking is unheard of. We ended up giving the county 5’ and they (the county) purchased the other 5’. You see that road would have been improved Rio Grande Steel or not. (just ask TX DOT). The 25,000. that E-News is talking about is for a corner clip (a piece of property at an intersection) that IS NOT OWNED BY Rio Grande Steel. The agreement to purchase this corner clip was made years ago even before I worked for Rio Grande Steel.
For those of you that have not been out to this location, this road is not only paved in front of Rio Grande Steel, it goes all the way to I road and beyond!!!! It was also improved on the west side 200’.

The state Attorney General clarified the rules in an opinion issued in April.
“If a school district with three-year trustee terms cannot comply with the election requirements … it must change to four-year trustee terms,” the opinion read.
This is from the article in today's Monitor. The benefit of having the elections all at the same time cannot outway the burden on taxpayers to pay for yearly school board elections. I think it is clear that we (the citizens of Edinburg) must demand that term limits be changed to four year terms.

McALLEN — Former Pharr-San Juan-Alamo schools Superintendent Arturo Guajardo pleaded guilty last week to one count of extorting bribes in exchange for his influence on contracts for district work.
But the school district’s longtime chief is not the only board member looking to cut a deal with federal prosecutors, according to sealed court filings leaked on Monday.
“A second defendant and the government have reached terms on a plea agreement,” the document states. “The government is in … on-going plea discussions with a third and fourth defendant.”
The government filing does not, however, specifically name any of the former superintendent’s co-defendants as possible candidates for a plea agreement.
Prosecutors agreed to drop 21 counts of conspiracy and extortion against Guajardo on Friday in exchange for his guilty plea and testimony in the ongoing case against PSJA board members Rogelio “Little Roy” Rodriguez, Raul “Big Roy” Navarro and Evangelina “Vangie” De Leon.
Federal authorities arrested all four in June at the conclusion of a two-year investigation into alleged bribes given in exchange for their influence on school repair work, construction of sports facilities and insurance for district employees.
According to the 22-count indictment in their case, Guajardo and the school board members accepted gifts from nine contractors that included cash payments totaling more than $600,000, paid vacations, concert tickets and in some cases even the services of prostitutes over a period of at least six years.
De Leon’s ex-husband, Ricardo, and contractors George Hernandez and Arnulfo “Arnie” Olivarez were also named in the case. Hernandez is currently the president of the Donna school board but his alleged criminal activity is not connected to his role as a public official, U.S. attorneys said.
In his guilty plea Friday, Guajardo admitted to taking an all-expenses paid trip with Rodriguez and Navarro to Las Vegas in June 2002. Plane tickets, hotel rooms, passes to sporting events and gambling money were all provided by various contractors interested in construction work.
Attorneys for Guajardo’s co-defendants did not comment Monday on who else might be looking to plea, but a lawyer for at least one insisted the former superintendent’s decision would have little impact on his client’s case.
“It doesn’t affect us at all,” said attorney Al Alvarez, who is representing Navarro. “My client is innocent.”
Guajardo declined to be interviewed for this story but had previously maintained his innocence in talks with reporters. His attorney — Reynaldo G. Garza III — did not return calls for comment."
I guess the clock is ticking for Jaime Chavana, Gus Garcia and Gilbert Enriquez. Their close relationship with George Hernandez and Arnulfo “Arnie” Olivarez are well documented. With this plea agreement and once these guys start naming names, it's only going to confirm what the FBI and the citizens of Edinburg already know.... Eddie Saenz lost this election not only because of his DWI coverup and years of pocketing taxpayers cash but he lost in my mind when his blog Edinburg News just has no credibility.
The quotation taken from another comment makes the point as clear as day. Look at Freddy Gonzalez' mom. She is endorsing Rep. Pena. E-News does try to make it look like the opposite is true. "Embattled PSJA board member pleads guilty

McALLEN — Pharr-San Juan-Alamo school board member Rogelio “Little Roy” Rodriguez resigned his seat Wednesday, before pleading guilty to a federal conspiracy charge.
During a hearing before U.S. District Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa, the trustee admitted to extorting bribes from contractors in exchange for funneling school district work to a list of preferred vendors.
The admission of guilt makes him the second PSJA official in the span of a week to confess to the alleged bribes-for-votes scheme that governed construction and service bids within the district for at least six years.
“This has certainly been a black eye for the district,” school board president Ben Garza said. “But the sooner we can move forward, the better for everyone involved.”
Plea deal
Prosecutors agreed to drop 36 other counts of extortion, bribery, conspiracy and money laundering that Rodriguez faced from two separate indictments.
In exchange, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and offered his cooperation in the ongoing case against fellow board members Raul “Big Roy” Navarro and Evangelina “Vangie” De Leon.
On Friday, former PSJA superintendent Arturo Guajardo agreed to a similar deal in which he admitted to one act of extortion.
Federal authorities arrested Guajardo and the three board members in June at the conclusion of a two-year investigation into alleged bribes given in exchange for their influence on school repair work, construction of new buildings and insurance for district employees.
De Leon’s ex-husband, Ricardo, and contractors George Hernandez and Arnulfo “Arnie” Olivarez were also charged in the case.
The officials accepted gifts from nine contractors that included cash payments totaling more than $600,000, paid vacations, concert tickets and in some cases even the services of prostitutes, according to the 22-count indictment
In his guilty plea Wednesday, Rodriguez admitted to taking an all-expenses-paid trip with Navarro, Guajardo and Hernandez in September 2003. Contractors interested in construction work provided them with plane tickets, hotel rooms and $6,500 passes to an Oscar de la Hoya boxing match.
Two unnamed businessmen on the trip had been awarded district construction jobs less than six months earlier, Rodriguez admitted.
The first was awarded a re-roofing job at a district middle school. The second received a construction deal for a new district maintenance building.
But even after returning to the Rio Grande Valley, the board continued to support the businesses, prosecutors said.
That same month, trustees re-approved the first contract. Five months later, they awarded the second contractor more than $68,000 in additional funds to complete his project.
Expected developments
Both Rodriguez and his attorney, Michael Garza, declined comment Wednesday immediately after a court hearing.
But lawyers for his co-defendants said they had known since October that the board member intended to plead guilty. Guajardo’s decision, however, caught them off guard, they said.
“None of this affects the case for my client,” said attorney Al Alvarez, who is representing board member Navarro. “We want to take this to trial as soon as possible.”
Vangie De Leon’s attorney, Jason Murray Davis, could not be reached for comment.
Both of these remaining board members are set to go to trial Jan. 8. But a sealed court document leaked to The Monitor on Monday indicates more deals with prosecutors could be forthcoming.
“The government is in … on-going plea discussions with a third and fourth defendant,” the filing states.
Absolving the past
In addition to the dropped charges against Rodriguez in that case, U.S. attorneys agreed not to prosecute Rodriguez on 15 further counts stemming from a February indictment.
Rodriguez was accused at that time of accepting $65,000 in cash payments between 1997 and 2004 from architect Joe Lopez and mason Pedro Gutierrez in exchange for helping them secure construction bids.
The school board trustee was also charged with trying to hide the money through various financial transactions.
Both Lopez and Gutierrez pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges earlier this year and await sentencing in February.
But prosecutors vowed Wednesday not to indict Rodriguez’s wife for any alleged knowledge or involvement in either bribery scheme.
He could face up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines at a sentencing hearing set for March.
Moving forward
Rodriguez, a 44-year-old real estate developer, was first elected to the school board in 1996 and has two children who attend PSJA schools.
He is the second board trustee to admit guilt on federal charges since a January 2005 raid on PSJA offices. Former board member Guadalupe Jaime Santa Maria was arrested in July of that year and is set to be sentenced in January.
Santa Maria’s arrest and removal from office shifted the balance of power on the board, leaving the remaining indicted trustees in the minority.
Rodriguez’s resignation Wednesday is expected to further decrease their numbers when the district either holds a special election or appoints his replacement.
Current Superintendent Daniel King, who took the helm of the school district after Guajardo’s arrest this summer, said he is ready to usher in a new era for the scandal-plagued board.
“This issue has been hanging over us for two years,” he said. “Resolution is in everyone’s best interest.”

Last week, McBlogger posted an interesting article about Austin City Council candidate Cid Galindo and his connections to the radical right through voucher king Jim Leininger, the Texas Public Policy Foundation, and lots of family money donated to Rick Perry and other Texas Republicans.
The fact that a radical Repulican would run for Austin City Council and actually expect to get elected is suprising. What is more suprising is that Democratic consultant Kelly Fero would sign on to help a family with this kind of background.
In the December 11 issue of the Austin online newsletter InFact Daily, Kelly Fero is identified as Galindo's campaign consultant and quoted saying
"Cid really is the sort of new dynamic leader, the kind of leader that we think Austin needs to move us past some of the battles we’ve been fighting for a generation."
"New dynamic leader"?WTF? Since when is helping the same people who are working hard to defeat Democrats and keep Tom Craddick moving past the battles of the past. Why is this consultant that presents himself as a Democrat working for these jackasses?

Austin, like every other Texas cities, holds non-partisan elections for city council seats. The city council has nothing to do with education or vouchers. As a general rule, city officials deal with more non-ideological issues like police protection, streets, garbage collection and zoning. I can see where a democratic consultant can see no harm in helping a republican in a non-partisan election to a city council position. If you look an hour to the south of Austin, in San Antonio, you see Democratic activists helping to elect Republicans and Republicans helping elect Democrats to city offices. Ideological issues are one thing. Quality of life issues are an area where people can find common ground. Furthermore, you are talking about city that kept a drag worm, street flower salesguy like Max Nofzinger on the city council for 10 years. You can maybe see where moderate Democrats can see a need to balance out Austin's wacky left tendnacies on the city council so that practicality wins out in the end.

Thats an easy question to answer, Candidates seek office for an array of reasons, they either serve someone with money and power or they seek money and power. Power is an afrodiziac for some i guess. Eddie running for dist.40 probably has to do with Multi million dollar construction on infrastructure deals that his engineering firm or buddies all up and down from valley to austin can get there hands on. His buddy JD just gave his Firm a hefty piece of the pie of that new loop. Well The RMA gave the contract to a Houston firm, but Saenz is doing a great deal of the subcontracting. You know "PEEL IT WORK" for big county tax dollar. THANKS TO JD SALINAS, whom was working for Saenz prior to filling the County Judge's Seat during his County Judge Elect time. The Whole You Scratch my back and I'll fill your pockets. Sad stuff, but yeah thats really the reason some of these poor misguided souls seek office. Take for example Oscar Garza, come on now, this is a guy who was barely getting by at one point without an education, and they put him in office one day and wholla he's a millionaire getting arrested and the whole nine yards. Some crappy politics here if you ask me, its quite amusing, shameful and at the same time funny stuff. But I guess the people down here dont get tired of eating shit sandwiches, because they elected a mayor for Edinburg, who till this day has no idea when he'd like to get the hell outta politics. I mean how small is this damn city that we gotta keep electing this man. Stubborn or just plain stupid if you ask me. Its always the same ol shit sandwiches they keep handing out for all the people to eat. I mean the system wasnt working when he was in office back in the day, what makes people think all of a sudden this guy is gonna make things work? Hey RINGMASTER....can you do some digging around and tell us why the Paper of South Texas has collapsed into nothing? How it went from a pretty decent investigative rag to basically being the Paper of Dr. Joe Gonzalez's and Alan Watkin's Anti-Yolanda Chapa Crap Stained Underwear. The most recent edition was simply crapola. What do you know or what have you heard.
Have you guys seen this about a repeat drunk driver getting let free? Eddie Saenz will undoubtedly get away with his DWI because he "has an important job".
We'll see how it all turns out cause Eddie and the Ochoa clan have already paid their politiqueras and bought their votes. Look for them to be hauling people out of their nursing homes and adult day care centers without their families consent so their "caretakers" can get a free lunch provided for by the Ochoa clan. I don't have a problem with the elderly coming out to vote, but when they don't have any idea where their being taken and then they are told by their caretakers and politiqueras who to vote for so that they can get their kickbacks, I think it's wrong. This is from the people who claim to care about the elderly voters but then turn around and take advantage of them so they can line the pockets of rats like Hector Casas and Eddie Saenz.

I agree, it's one thing to use politiqueras to block walk or for phone banking, but to pay them per vote like your people have is a whole other story. I'll throw it right back at you... Paying people like Yolanda Nino and Beatrice thousands of dollars and greasing the local adult day cares to drag the elderly out without their families consent and tell them who they have to vote for becuase they are the ones providing lunch or who paid the day cares... sound familiar? How familiar is this, a couple of security guards who work for the Edinburg School District who are related to J.L. Salinas who always take off during the early vote and drive a van rented for them by the same bunch to drag the elderly out of their day cares without their families knowledge and also told who they have to vote for. Don't know what I'm talking about? Look for them during Eddie's campaign cause they've already been paid for. Also look for them during David Chavanas campaign cause David's brother Jaime used them during his election and Robert and Greg used them during their election. This should sound familiar cause it's your practice. If people want to get paid to do block walks and phone banks, that's fine cause they are not taking advantage of anyone, that is actually work, but to take advantage of the elderly, is a whole different story. Those "two security guards" are two good guys who don't get paid any money to bring in votes, and EVERY vote they bring in is a member of their family!
They do not pick up one, NOT ONE, person from an adult daycare.
You can point your fingers at the people who deserve it, and yes, there are those who do pick up people at daycares for ALMOST ALL CANDIDATES, but don't make false accusations against people who you don't like ONLY because they do not support your preferred candidate(s).
P.S. How come I visited a relative at Los Colores daycare, and there was a lady with Espinoza stickers all over passing out Espinoza cards to every person in the place? Could it be that your beloved candidate is the one who really has politiqueras working the adult daycares, and you're just trying to throw everyone here off that fact?

Well to answer your question, MONEY, the paper of south texas just doesnt sell that much advertisement so they resort to going to the people who support it financially. Not to mention when you have political, public, or wanna be officials on the boards of these so called papers, you're bout to have some one sided crap being printed. We live in America, where anything that is printed is considered true. Anything can be advertised here in America, shoot I cant imagine how much of that papers' garbage is actually true. You know the town crier paper ends up on my driveway for free daily and I've never bothered reading it. So that south texas paper is like an ol town crier on my doorstep. Social Life magazine is another paper that caters to none other than Eddie Saenz, he's on there board. Thats the problem with these little business ventures, that once you cater to one party, well you gotta stick with them. Business people should be A Political. Not to take sides. When a business allows themselves to get immersed in the political hoopla, that is when they split there business potential in half. Big mistake to do that. But The south texas paper just cant compete with the monitor or la frontera for that matter and its a dog eat dog world out there in the paper biz.
